2011 US Open Picks

Welcome to US Open week on the PGA Tour. This week we get the pleasure of having the 2nd major of the year played at the beautiful Congressional Country Club. The course will most likely play as the most difficult course for the players on Tour this year. At 7574 yards Congressional will be extremely long, though the long rough could pose the largest problem.

With a premium being put on accuracy and putting this week, research has to be done to predict a winner. That is exactly what I have been doing for the past month. Having watched every minute of golf for the past 5 weeks, and almost every minute for the past 5 years, I feel very confident in the 2011US Open.

Last year I managed to pick Greame Mcdowell for an excellent payday. In 2006 I picked Geoff Ogilvy to win the tournament, and he went on to do just that. As most of you know, not only can we pick outright winners, we love our head to head matchups. Last year I went 4-1 on my US Open head to head matchups, and have hit over 60% winners for head to head this year.

Since I was young I’ve spent as much time on the golf course as the weather will allow me to. As I began to bet on sports I figured I would try my luck at the sport I know the best - golf. I began hitting winners on a regular basis and have turned it into a really solid part time income profiting in 8 of the last 9 years.
