Hello everyone. Well that will officially go down as one of the greatest Masters Championships ever. We witnessed the fourth Double Eagle in Masters History, two hole in ones, and the lowest final round in Masters History. Don’t think I am going to forget to mention the shot seen around the world by Bubba Watson in the playoff on Hole 10. We hit our 3rd winner in the last 4 Masters, and are now up over 55 units on the year for our head to head and outright selections.
Harbour Town Golf Links is one of my favorite courses through the PGA Tour season. It is a ball striker’s course and this is evident with Brian Gay, Luke Donald and Jim Furyk having success here in the last few seasons. Brandt Snedeker is the defending champion here after winning in an intense playoff. Look for this year to once again be a bunched up leaderboard as the course gives many opportunities for birdies.
Harbour Town is a Par 71 that should measure on average around 7100 yards this week ( I say on average because the organizers tend to move the tee blocks around.) Look for players who are straight off the tee and excellent around the greens to be near the top of the leaderboard. The designer Pete Dye tends to challenge players by utilizing undulating greens and carefully placed hazards.
When you do watch this weekend please take note of how difficult a challenge the players are facing and how well the winner will have to play to raise the trophy. Watch the 17th (a 185 yard Par 3 with water everywhere) and then the 18th, (a 452 yard Par 4 with the historic Lighthouse in the background) and you will be thankful the finishing two holes at your home course are much easier.

Sneak Peak Pick:
JASON DUFNER 42 TO 1 – Jason is going to win on the PGA Tour very soon. He seems to be positioning himself in contention every week he competes and one of these weeks he will pull through. Harbour Town sets up well for Jason’s game and he is in terrific form right now. Dufner has Top 24’s in his past 3 events and also has a solid record here. Jason has made the cut in each of his last 3 starts and posted a T14 finish last year. Look for Jason to utilize his 7th ranked total driving and 14th ranked ball striking this week. I just hope he can close on Sunday as nerves tend to get the better of him.
