The Heritage Picks

1

Hey they’re everyone. Unfortunately I had a few unexpected things come up and wont be able to do a full post this week. Luckily I utilized past years research for this week at Harbour Town. Also next week I will be away on vacation so will be unable to do my proper research and post.

Harbour Town Golf Links is one of my favorite courses through the PGA Tour season. It is a ball striker’s course and this is evident with Brian Gay, Luke Donald and Jim Furyk having success here in the last few seasons.

When you do watch this weekend please take note of how difficult a challenge the players are facing and how well the winner will have to play to raise the trophy. Watch the 17th (a 185 yard Par 3 with water everywhere) and then the 18th, (a 452 yard Par 4 with the historic Lighthouse in the background) and you will be thankful the finishing two holes at your home course are much easier.

Steves Six Pack Picks

We are going with past success, solid play of late and a long shot that needs a win to change his fortunes.

Aaaron Baddely 21/1 – Won here in 2006 and has had one of the best years on Tour so far. Currently 6th the in Fed Ex Cup points and will be vying to overtake Mark Wilson for 1st this week.

Rickie Fowler 27/1 – One of the best iron players on Tour last year but has not found his grove with his irons this year. He does have a terrific short game and has been one of the best putters on Tour this year though.

Brian Gay 38/1 – Absolutely dominated the field here in 2009 and plays this type of course very well.

Bo Van Pelt 44/1 – Played very solid golf the past two weeks (though the results may not have been his ultimate goal, his overall game seems to be running on all cylinders.)

Rickey Barnes 60/1- Another player who has played very well as of late but just hasn’t won. Rickey for some reason shows up in big events and this is one of the larger ones on Tour.

Camilo Villegas – 100/1 – A player who has all the attributes to win multiple times every year on Tour but just struggles to put everything together. I feel a weekend at the Harbour may do the trick.

Good luck to everyone and once again I apologize for the short write up and that I am away next week.

Since I was young I’ve spent as much time on the golf course as the weather will allow me to. As I began to bet on sports I figured I would try my luck at the sport I know the best - golf. I began hitting winners on a regular basis and have turned it into a really solid part time income profiting in 8 of the last 9 years.
